Led trailer lights need fine tuning
The lights are all right, however the mounting studs on the back of the light are short. My left hand side has the license plate holder that attaches to the mounting studs. So the stud goes through the plate on the trailer and the license plate holder, which does not give me enough room to put the nut on. I had to order a new aluminum license plate holder which is quite thin. Hopefully this will solve my problem and there will be room to install the nut. Also the light fixture wires are a very small gage do to the fact that the led lights do not use much amperage as opposed to the old incandescent light fixture. This poses somewhat of a problem because the trailer wiring is a #16 wire. They don't really make a butt connector for #16 wire to #22 wire that I know of, so making the new connection is difficult unless you change the wiring harness.
