Exactly what I expected
T-bolt clamps are proper stainless band (polished and non-ferromagnetic), with zinc coated bolt and yellow zinc chromate nuts. Time will tell if they're fully up to par, but quality is hard to beat for the price for sure.

Decent kit overall given the price, but it isn't a complete solution for any MK4 VW I've seen.
The kit is good value for the money. The problem is, the upper radiator flange doesn't fit any MK4 VW I've ever seen. It's the right design, but it's way too small. Also, my stock retaining clip for the coolant temperature sensor refused to go into the cast flange, despite it seemingly being the proper dimensions. Tried to trim it down some, but it didn't help. Good news is, the metal clip for the apparently worthless upper radiator flange is a great fit. All you have to do is cut most of the locking tips off so it'll slide in. It probably wouldn't ever slide out, but I would leave a bit of those nubs to help ensure it stays. Also, you may want to consider a new o-ring for the coolant temperature sensor. The new flange doesn't come with one, and they can get a bit swollen with time.
