A solid headphone with plenty of options for customization.
The DT 1990 is well constructed, easily repaired/modified, and performs well.
The sound characteristics are thoroughly described and measured by multiple different reviewers, so it isn't hard to get the gist of how the sound will compare to other headphones if you look them up online before buying.
They have great clarity and frequency extension. They excel at imaging, so they are great for gaming. The bass is tight and well controlled.
The default sound signatures are not necessarily for everyone, especially if you are treble sensitive. Luckily, they can be modified easily and extensively. The sound can be adjusted with pads, foam disks, passive filters, or EQ with impressive results. The measurements for many of these modifications are also available online, so you can get an idea of the range of different sound profiles you could aim for.

Snug, but works
Fits a little snug in a 2015 Toyota corolla, but it seems to work well.

compact and feature rich
This is a solid keyboard with excellent features and build in a very compact form factor. Being able to configure all of the settings using onboard button combinations is great. I didn't even need to fiddle with any startup bloatware to get it set how I wanted.
