14500 cells that are the CORRECT LENGTH.

I took the time and trouble to look up this battery up on Nitecore's website. They list this battery at 49.5 mm in length. I have some 14500 batteries that are 53.5 mm long, and DO NOT WORK in two of my flashlights. That won't be a problem with these 14500 li-ion batteries..

Fenix ARE-A4 Battery Charger, Compatible With Different Battery Types #ARE-A4

Do NOT buy this piece of Fenix junk. I warned you.

This battery charger says it will 'automatically set the correct charge rate' for all battery types. If you put ANY Li-Ion battery in it, it will charge it at 1000 milliamps. That is DOUBLE the safe charge rate for ALL Li-Ion batteries smaller than an 18650 battery. I keep most of my batteries in my two cars, in airtight waterproof containers with some flashlights. I only need a few in the house. Midway through the summer, I charged ALL my 16340, 14500, 16350, and 18650 batteries in my Fenix ARE-A4 charger. Now, NONE of the more than FIFTY 16340, 14500, and 18350 cells will hold a charge more than a few weeks. This POC Fenix ARE-A4 battery charger DESTROYED MORE THAN $350 WORTH OF MY Li-Ion BATTERIES. None were more than 3 years old. Most were 1 1/2 years old or less. ALL RUINED BY THIS PIECE OF FENIX JUNK, because I charged them ONCE in a Fenix ARE-A4 charger. As far as I'm concerned, Fenix just STOLE more than $350 from me. You bet I'm pissed.
