The IC7300 is a great transceiver for newcomers to the hobby or thouse who want a good radio for general purposes. It cover all bands from 160M to 70Mhz ( the European version, others ony go to 50 Mhz. It has 100W output which is reduced to 50W on 6 and 4 Metres he DSP is good with continually variable selectivity and it has an inbuilt antenns tuner . This can only tune a 3:1 SWR.
In use it is very easy to operate and becomes inuitive. Many functions are accessed from the touch screen which keeps the knob clutter on the front panel down.
For the money compared to the Xiegu G90 and other similar radios it is a good buy. If you want to use 70Mhz make sure you get a European supplied version as some don't have this band enabled. This isn't a high end contest grade radio but is a very useable and capable transceiver using moder SDR techniques.
