This was so impressive a Battle, it should be included in the Library of Congress!!!
To begin with, this is an important British War Story...Most meaningful, if you understand the
Brit high society, and certainly the Royals.
I happen to be at the right place, at the right time, and purchased an Original Etching of this fantastic 5000 Zulu, battling approx.
What...100 odd Bridge Building Engineers, coupled with a few wounded regulars and misfits...in an African outpost...during the after math of 1000 Brit troops, having been killed off by the same 5000 Zulus...only to be "STOPPED" in their tracks by a fraction of " Red-Coat Engineers"??? Even the Zulus were shocked...and most respectful of this IMPRESSIVE BATTLE! Cheers!!!!!

Nothing wrong with the Title...(a true spy story...one of the best).
I read the Book in the Waterloo Station, London, England, in 1964, after missing my train on a Saturday night. I bought a first issue paperback from a vending machine.
In the original true story, it was clearly a S&W, Mod. 42, 2" Snub Nose in 38 Spc., 5 Shot, counter clockwise rotation, revolver. Why was it changed to a Colt .32 Cal, in 3" barrel?????
If anything to change this weapon to, it will be a S&W, Mod. 60, 3", Stainless, in .38 Scp.
I still have the paperback book...all the edge of the pages have discolored a yellow, but still, a keeper!

No title involved...just a part!
it is as mentioned, and made by the company as noted on the Mercedes Manual...however, the only difference is, it is a about 1/8" shorter than the original Idle Control Valve, and I have had the 450SEL since new, in 1979. not sure why that is...but it works fine...
EXCEPT: The problem I had with the original Valve, remains...IT DOES NOT "KICK DOWN" WHEN IT SHOULD...YOU HAVE TO EASE OFF THE GAS, AT 3000 RPM, BEFORE IT DOES...(AUTO-SHIFT).???
