Intel DH87RL desktop board -- End of the Intel era

These desktop boards served as the "reference hardware" for countless developments of Operating Systems -- especially Microsoft Windows.

The Intel DH87RL "Round Lake" mATX version was one of their best,
and a fitting end of the era.
I have 3 of these motherboards, each with the Intel 7260-AC Wireless/Bluetooth cards.
They are rock solid running Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.

While I have examined Desktop boards from Asus, Gigabyte, Asrock, and others --- none have yet achieved this balance of value and performance.

Used Pentium III Coppermine 1 GHZ processor -- Works great !
This is a used "pulled" Pentium III - Coppermine (0.18 um) processor.
Cleaned the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS), installed in a dual processor motherboard with new heat sinks.
Works great running Ubuntu Server verison 10.04.3
