When it is good .. it is very good
When working it is a fantastic item .. but it could use some design upgrades that would keep it working well. My first had a contact problem after 30 days, and then stopped working. Had to make some minor adjustments and it did start working again after. I did purchase a second one which is now a backup for the first. It is on the pricey side, and many might not be able to afford the luxury of having one. I have been very satisfied with it while it is functioning correctly I would recommend it to keep spare batteries charged, especially if a person is away from home and doesn't want to transport a corded charger.

Working very well for me
The bulbs seem to last a long time and are easy to replace when a problem occurs. I have had a string in my gazebo for a few years now, and only recently had to replace two bulbs. Two strings are perfect for my 40 foot patio, they are on a timer and they are dimmable. Each bulb is 7 watt, ten to a string (70 watt bulb equivalent) They give enough light that I no longer turn my patio fan lights on .. ( 4x60 watt bulbs - 240 watt equivalent) so actually am using less electric. I purchased two extra strings so I have spare bulbs .. less expensive that way than purchasing readily available replacement bulbs elsewhere.
