Clear water at last
I have tried numerous chemicals for a fountain / bird bath, and in each case, the fountain was green within a few days. I tried these pellets this year and the water has stayed clear for at least two weeks. Then I hose out the fountain of the minimum discoloration and put a new pellet in. It stays clear for two weeks.

Too early to tell.
I have a Weber Performer with a gas starter. The electric is a backup in case the gas does not work or the wind is too strong for the gas. I have not used this one yet but I have had others that performed flawlessly.

lightweight and waterproof
Too early to be sure, but these covers seem to be much better than the fabric ones I had before. the old ones rotted and tore, and were never good for a whole year. these look like they will hold up better.
