Brilliant
A well laid out & comprehensive guide for all canal users including boaters, cyclists & walkers. Split into sections covering a few miles long with rhe useful benefit of links to local shops, pubs & restraunts.

An excellent local & social history reference
I grew up in the Fylde area & have lived in the Midlands for 30 years, I bought the book as I have an interest in railways especially rural branch lines. I have learned a lot from the book which I enjoy reading. There is no other book available on the specific subject & will be buying volume one in the near future.
