Handy little junction box that does what it says!
I use it on a pedalboard that I use in the 4 CM (E.g., some pedals before the amp, the rest in the effects loop). The top mounted jacks make it easy to see and connect to pedals at different levels, and having all my cables terminate in one location allows me to use a snake.
Not too complicated, fairly small footprint on my pedalboard, and does exactly what it says. The TRS jacks work just fine with TS instrument cable connections. I haven't tried the midi jacks but if they're as good as the rest of this solid little unit, I'm sure they are totally gig-worthy.
Definitely worth the money! If you need something like this, this works great!

Omg, amazing old-school analog delay with modern tweaks!
After numerous reviews and videos, and pondering over this for years, I finally took the plunge and bought a brand new Maxon AD9 Pro. Having owned an original Maxon-built Ibanez UE-305 multi-effect in the 1980s for literally decades, I am very familiar with (and love) the bucket brigade analog delay repeats. I've also owned a few Echoplexs, a Space Echo, and other delay pedals. Well Maxon has done an amazing job putting just the right features on the AD9 Pro and it's amazing both in-front of an amp and in the effects loop.
From subtle to over to ambient effects, the 400ms is enough to take you right back to that classic analog echo bliss! It really shines for shorter delays but I also love the longer repeats that only have the most minimal warming/darkening of tones as the repeats extend. Simply beautiful.
The dual-head feature is nice to really fill-out the sound if you don't have a second delay, but right now I'm running this stacked with a digital delay. Signal chain is effects send > AD9 pro > Analogman (True) Stereo Analog Chorus > TC Electronics Nova Delay (digital) and the combination is absolutely mind-blowing. Throw in a little reverb and it's Pink Floyd / David Gilmour all night long!
The true-bypass is flawless and my only minor gripe is that like all Maxon 9-series pedals, you need to step accurately to engage the switch. That just comes with the territory because the entire pedal is heavy, solid, built like a tank and honestly seems indestructible.
Caveat: As it states on Maxon's website, make sure you use an AC adapter or power supply that can supply sufficient current. My Voodoo Labs Pedal Power II runs it just fine from a high power port (200mA) and it also runs well on a Boss PSA 120. Also, if you buy a brand new AD9, give it a day or so to break-in and from then on it sounds better every day!
Is it expensive? Yes, but this pedal is the best musical investment I've made in a very long time. My delay search is finally over!

Perfect footswitch for Boss and Roland products
I bought two of these. I use one with a Roland Cube 20X set to unlatched mode (like a 5FU), and the other with a Roland JC-22 in the latching mode (like a 5FL). Totally easy, works perfectly and great for running off a standard Boss type power cord. Takes up very little room on my pedalboards also. Perfect.
