You won t find too many of these left out there since GM quit making them many years ago. Killer Filter makes a clone, but it s made in China and of questionable quality. If you need a base for a coolant filter, I recommend the Wix 24019, which is a Perry H-250 in a box with a Wix label. The Wix/Perry unit is cast iron, and most importantly it has a restrictor bung to prevent excessive coolant flow that could damage the filter.

Typical Chinese compressor - total garbage!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Customer bought one of these Chinese Yorks brand new. It worked, but was incredibly noisy! Replaced under warranty. Replacement was just as loud. Replaced it again. Third compressor was tolerable, but the front seal leaked. Replaced the seal, and it worked OK for about three months. Then it started making noise, pumping poorly, and running hot. Classic failed valve symptoms.
On my recommendation the customer bought a T/CCI York compressor. The T/CCI Yorks are still made in the USA. I flushed the OE tube and fin condenser AGAIN, and installed a NOS Parker receiver/dryer AGAIN (I did this with each compressor replacement), evacuated and recharged the system. No noise, no leaks, great pumping. And it was still working three seasons later, even in brutal southwest summers at the high head pressures typical of 134a.
Do yourself a favor. Spend the extra $100-$150. You get a far better part, and you support American workers, not the horrible Chinese Communist Party.
One more thing: don't do a Sanden conversion. The York pumps more refrigerant, and works much better particularly at idle and stop and go. If you do go the Sanden route, make sure you get a genuine USA made Sanden compressor, not one of the Chinese "Sanden-style" clones that have flooded the market. ALL Chinese compressors are crap, not just the Yorks. Even if you get one that works and is quiet, the life span is only 30k-50k miles. A real Sanden, Seltec, Denso, T/CCI York, Ford FS-series compressor, etc. all last well over 150k as long as the refrigerant and oil isnt allowed to leak out. No Chinese compressor comes close. They may look the same, but they're not built the same. Poor metallurgy, poor machining. There's a reason they are so cheap. Pay a little more up front for a genuine compressor and you wont have to do it again in a year or two.

Outstanding quality, outstanding price!
I own several Amtrol cylinders, some of which are almost 25 years old. They still pass inspection with ease. These cylinders and their Y valve are of superior quality to "Vevor" and other Chinese cylinders on the market. Not only are they better than Chinese cylinders, but they are priced comparably or, in many cases, LOWER, than the Chinese products! If you can't get a US-made Worthington cylinder, then these Portugese-made Amtrol cylinders are definitely the next best thing.
