The Compact Tractor Bible

This is like the Bible only if the Bible quit after the first verse of Genesis. The book has an interesting format and its glossy photos add interest as an'eye candy' tease. So said, it was a major disappointment. The ad blurb and the book's intro pages talk about how there are over 80 manufacturers of compact tractors and implies that it will add information to help the compact tractor shopper make an informed decision to buy. Ending confusion between the myriad chooses. Not so! It basically throws together a number of paraphrased brochures from perhaps 5 compact tractor manufacturers. It then includes more manufactures brochure fair about UTVs, Mini excavators, skid steers and specialty grounds equipment. This is a low information book and a waste of time and money for anyone who is looking for a definitive technical and price comparison about compact tractors that are currently manufactured and private labeled from the USA, Canada, Japan, China, England, Germany, India etc. etc. As I said a waste of time, money and paper.

Good value

Seems to be of very good quality . I needed to use 1/2" bolts so drilled out the 7/16" standard holes. No problem.
