Black Soc T: a must-have for Miike Takashi/yakusa fans
These are some of the best films by Miike Takashi. They are Shinjuku Triad Society (1995), Rainy Dog (1997) and Ley Lines (1999). Shinjuku Triad Society is about the sons of a Sino-Japanese, one who becomes a cop in the business district of Shinjuku and tries to keep his younger brother out of the criminal underworld that permeates the big city. Rainy Dogs is about a Chinese-Japanese man who fleds to Taiwan after a killing. There he not only finds work, but he also finds out he has a son and that his old crime family does not want him back (but want to keep his girlfriend). He also learns there is another mix-race hitman after him and his new employers have sold him out in order to patch things out between crime families. Ley Lines tells the tale of three Japanese-Chinese friends who travel from their small rural village to Tokyo to escape the discrimination they faced in their small town, only they lose their money to a prostitute as soon as they arrive, are forced to sell drugs to make ends meet and hatch a plan to rob a Triad boss in order to buy passports (and escape Japan forever). If you enjoy Japanese films and live for yakusa/mafia crime stories, these films are made just for you. They are bloody, dark, voilent and sexualy explicit that had made a cult following for Miike Takashi. This is not Saturday morning kung-fu samurai fare, but an all-out violent ride that leave you asking for more. Think of Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs and Good Fellows mashed-up and seved for your viewing pleasure. A must-buy!

AVOID AT ALL COST - DANGER OF BROKEN GLASS
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I successfully installed this shower door bottom hook guide on my shower door and then suffered a shattered glass door as a result of using this product.
Please learn from my experience:
1) The hooks are larger than factory OEM, so the holes will not line up with the slots (they sit too high).
2) The screws supplied are LARGER than factory OEM, so the holes on the door frame are too small.
3) This shower door bottom door hook guide requires a spacer to fit tight against the door (the instructions on the back of the package call for it, NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PACKAGE), since the hooks are larger it sits further away from the door whereas original did not require a spacer. (You can reuse the old bottom hook guide but it might not work due to the thickness)
AVOID PURCHASING OR USING, ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL WILL RESULT IN A SHATTERED GLASS DOOR.
If your shower door does not crack during installation it could shatter from use, TEMPERED GLASS IS MORE PRONE TO CRACKING IF STRESSED AT THE CORNERS OR EDGES, WHICH IS WHAT THIS SHOWER DOOR BOTTOM HOOK GUIDE WILL DO.
I wish eBay would let me post pictures in this review so you could see the bathroom floor and tub full of bloodied glass, my arm & feet full of small cuts and the six-plus hours cleaning the small glass shards off my bathroom.
If you do plan to install it please do the following:
1) Drill holes on the plastic shower hook door to match existing holes on the door frame (not while against the door, use a marker to pin point where the holes should go then drill on a workbench), it will be the only way to avoid damaging the tempered glass
2) Reuse existing smaller screws to prevent hitting the glass door (the screws provided in the packaging are too large).
3) Keep pizza or biscuit dough ready to pick up small glass shards when your tempered glass door breaks from the stress.
4) A good flashlight at floor level will help you find small glass shards, they go everywhere and you do not want to step on them.
5) Please be aware that glass sticks to the sole of sandals and flip-flops, do not track glass shards to the rest of your home.
5) Your door will still be hanging from the top even when shattered, so you will have a frame full of broken glass to deal with. It is best to cover the drain with a wash cloth to keep glass from clogging the pipes, knock as much glass off the frame as you can into the tub and to lift the top rail to remove the entire door. This task will be somewhat easier since the sliding doors will now be 1/2 as heavy due to all the glass on the shower floor.
If I have not talked you off purchasing it please be careful.
A shower curtain and rod is cheaper than this bottom hook guide!

Resident Evil: please send more ammo
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich I love the guncon for my PS2, and I have been trying to get all the games that use it. "Resident Evil: Dead Aim" is a great title which incorporates the guncon into the game's usual play dynamics. The play of this game is unique, its no rail or stage shooter. There is no timer, no fixed frame where the baddies come for you. You move and act like in all other Resident Evil games: search the area for clues, herbs, ammo, maps and keys while trying to stay away from the zombies using the D-pad in your guncon. And when those zombies catch up to you then the guncon comes into play: you use it to aim and blast away at the baddies. My biggest gripe is one that many Resident Evil and survival game afficionados share: the bullets run out pretty fast. I know thats how all the other games play out but c'mon! its a guncon! Nothing is more frustrating than wielding a guncon and the ammo runs out and having to play hide from the zombies. The game is dark and the zombies seem to have rubber necks, the heads bobble from side to side which makes head-shots hard to frame. This game is as exciting as it is frustrating. Love to search, solve and blast away. Hate to hide and run because the ammo is out. A must have for Resident Evil fans but a pass if you like the unlimited ammo, timed-stage runs play of other games such as Time Crisis.
