    Packaging was really questionable. This is a porcelain doll and she was packaged inside a pair of nested tissue boxes. Luckily she arrived intact, but this was still risky. She could have been crushed, and it's rainy here today and my mailbox door doesn't shut all the way, so the box was damp when I got it out of the mailbox. If it had been rained on any more it would have disintegrated before I got to it.

It's a book worth reading
It's mostly an excellent book. There are some parts I find tedious. It's almost like it was written by 2 people. At time the words will flow. Interesting and exciting but then later on, the words becomes choppy, wordy, boring and hard to follow. BUT...I still love the book and Caleb Carr's attention to detail. I'm definitely a Caleb Carr fan!

All Things Betsy Mccall
This wonderful book is filled with excellent photos of all the Betsy McCall dolls, their wonderful outfits and furniture. It's a MUST HAVE guide to "all things Betsy". If you're a Betsy McCall collector or just a fan, you will love this book. It can be expensive but well worth it.
