Very good quality pickup/preamp. The only issue I had was having to do a liitle tweeking to get the string to string balance correct. Sound is full without a lot of that piezo "quack" that many other brands have. Powerful and responsive output as well.

Great value. Sound compares to guitars costing 3X their price.
Guitar was purchased damage but not in a critical structural area. Repairs were made as good as possible and this guitar is a dream. These Alvarez dreadnaughts are a tremendous value for the money. Highly recommended.
