Nintendo 3DS XL Black Handheld Console (PAL) Console only

Handheld retro fun

I've come late to the 3DS party but glad I made it! For a very reasonable price I picked up a first gen 3DS XL to replace my DSi and what a world of difference - the size is better for my grown up hands, there is a whole other library of games I can now access and the glasses free 3D? Really astonishing! I know it isn't the most popular feature with everyone but after 5 weeks of regular play I still love it, really gives games an amazing sense of size and scale. Great gameplay included as standard, it is Nintendo after all :-)

Perfect complement to PSVR

I bought these initially to avoid disturbing my wife with noise when I am playing VR games but oh my goodness - I had not anticipated the extra level of immersion they would provide! 3d spacial sound is fantastic and really adds to the experience. They don't completely cut out ambient noise but do reduce it greatly. I like this because if someone needs to get my attention while I'm playing then its not a complete shock or if I'm taking turns with a friend we can still make gameplay suggestions and get involved with each others experience if we choose to. Reasonably priced, great quality, comfortable and immersive, plus I like that they are styled to look like part of the PSVR system.
