Running it on Ubuntu 16.04
Bought this machine refurbished to get the quad core and upgrade to 16GB RAM over my old machine. It does that well. Immediately installed a dual boot Ubuntu. Works out of the gate. The machine is quick, but the boot time on Windows 10 is faster than on Linux.
It's not a lightweight machine, but I like it's solidity. The whole of the back pops off with one lock-switch to access the RAM etc, which I think is a good design. 3 USB ports is something I find I sometimes use. The battery gives me longer than expected (2.5 hours) and I've ordered a larger, 9 cell, battery.

Good value
So far I have used this heat gun with the arrowhead attachment only. I've used it to cut and seal poly rope. Works great. I've not tried the staples aspect of its use.

Just the job
Chunky, strong, easy to attach with some screws or bolts into wood. They are about 3 to 4 inches long. Coating seems decent and will proof from rust.
