Delightfully funny for cat and poetry lovers! Cute & colorfully illustrated!
Famous poetry from famous poets, rewritten for classy kitty cats! Cleverly written (or re-written by Henry Beard) with hilarious results. An example:
The Yellow Goldfish
by William Carlos William's Cat
so much depends
upon
a yellow gold
fish
washed down with bowl
water
inside the white
kitten.
Some poem titles are: Do Not Go Peaceable to That Damn Vet by Dylan Thomas's Cat; Meowl by Allen Ginsberg's Cat; To a Vase by Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Cat (a revised version of "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.); The Hairball and the Mouse by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's Cat (revised version of "The Arrow and the Song" - I shot an arrow into the air, it fell to earth, I know not where.)
Such a fun book for poetry loving cat people! I love my copy!

A great reference, especially for beginners!
This book is an awesome reference! I need refreshing sometimes on crochet stitches I rarely use like hairpin lace or broomstick lace ... this book had absolutely nothing on hairpin or broomstick lace. So I'll have to find that info online or something. This book has more info on knitting, and really that's what I need help with. I've been crocheting for 48 years. I'm very inexperienced with knitting. That being said, the crochet section is great for beginners. Both sections teach how to read patterns, which is super important for beginners. Pattern stitches like shells and mesh stitches are in each section. I have to use the instructions in the knitting sections before I can really tell if they are easy to understand, but it looks really promising as far as I can tell. My book just arrived, so I need time to try it out.
