When I am on My Knees
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich someone gave me a copy of this book several years ago. i finally got it off the shelf and began reading it. WOW is it an amazing book of prayers written by the author. (She is soooo close to God!) There are also scriptures in the book and quotes from other people. I like the book so much i bought 25 more copies for gifts. I THINK THIS IS A BOOK EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD OWN, AND IT IS GREAT FOR NON-BELIEVERS ALSO. Although i dont know the author's denomination, the book would be suitable for any mainstream denomination.
It would be a wonderful book for a church to give out to all the ladies on mother's day. (oh, i have given a couple of men copies)

Teaching kids how amazing apostrophes really are !!
My 6 year old granddaughter brought this book home from the town library and I was SOOOO impressed with it I bought one for her . And she likes it too; she has read it over and over !!She took it to school and her first grade teacher was so amazed at the creativity of the book that the school is going to get one for its library . It's funny , so well written , and neatly illustrated and educational , I am going to get another book by this author ASAP !! BTW , it is difficult for a first grader to understand all the implications , so you have to explain as the child reads it for the first time to you .

THAT’S HOW I ANSWERED THE PHONE FOR 20 YEARS AT THE DOWNTOWN ROPER LAB)....Loved the book , especially in remembering the hurricane Hugo incidents ! Well written ,and ME ( I know it’s “I”) , the GRAMMAR NAZI (and I CAN say that because I AM 5O% GERMAN !!)..... found no grammatical errors !!!! ANYWAY , everyone who has ever worked in the ROPER ST FRANCIS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM needs to read this book!!! My only complaint is I wish the book had more pictures!!
