A cool toy
I play a lot of golf. At least 100 rounds per year. So, I truly enjoy it and for me, this system is just more information and a chance to obsess over my favorite hobby. But it is truly just a toy in my personal opinion. It is not super convenient or helpful on the course. But it does give good feedback later in my home. It is pretty easy to update, when I forget to register a club during play, etc. If you like this sort of stuff, this is very good. If you can't remember to register each stroke or remember how you played the hole later to fix your gaff, its not for you

Expands my car GPS
was only able to download half of the US to my car's original chip. Bought this and loaded the entire country plus Canada. Much better, don't you think?

If you need a keypad
This is a good one to have. I used to carry a big, heavy 17" laptop just for the convenience of the keypad. But my needs changed and I now carry a much smaller, lighter laptop without the room for a built-in keypad. This one does the trick, is lightweight and suits me just fine. Plug and play, easy peesy
