Surprisingly well made little skillet
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This review is for the Nambu ironware square egg combustor. The skillet is sized to comfortably hold two eggs. It is pre-seasoned so there isn't a worry about rust right away. It is solid and as heavy as one would expect for cast iron. The minor downside is that the inside is rougher than I had expected. Rougher than a typical Lodge cast iron. I added extra seasonings using flaxseed oil and remnants of a clean old t-shirt. The surface was rough enough to snag and fray the t-shirt a bit. Not much, but enough to give you an idea of how rough it is. I seasoned the little skillet 4 times. And although it is still a bit rough, the egg will slide around on it like a champ. Surprisingly, no sticking at all. I would definitely recommend this little skillet with 2 warnings. 1) the roughness inside will require a few seasonings of your own to be happy with it and 2) the item took almost a month to arrive from Japan to California.
