Bring life to an old, great engine.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I was really quite impressed with this carb. I always brace for the worst with most Chinese replacement parts, but I was pleasantly surprised this time. I still had to do mods to make this fit, but afterwards it did function beautifully. Since a factory new replacement is no longer an option, this is a great way to go. For the low price, doing a few mods is still worth it.
Okay, the mods:
1. The holes in intake side face were not tapped to allow screwing on the air cleaner housing.
2. The choke lever operates from the front side of the carb instead of the back side. Hence the choke operates backwards. For example, if pushing the linkage used to close the choke, now it opens it.
3. Since the choke lever operates from the front side of the carb, it protrudes past the front face of the carb. For my application, it meant the air cleaner housing would not install since it hit the lever. I had to make a spacer to allow room for the choke lever to rotate behind the air cleaner housing.

Far nicer than you might think
When ordering, I was pretty concerned about being disappointed by the the quality of this bushing when delivered. Well, I was not disappointed at all. Though because of the great price I'm sure it was manufactured in China, it looks no different than the CAT part and came packaged far better than the CAT part would have. If you are worrying about getting this but like the price, stop worrying and order. You'll not be disappointed.
