Accurate title (but no plans), interesting walk through history!
Having these architectural illustrations in you hand in book form can not be beat...other than by somehow getting the full size architectural plans. This beats looking at these on the internet or individually downloaded illustrations. Furthermore, these books are so relatively inexpensive that you can't go wrong. Excellent for the arm chair craftsman enthusiast or potential home builder that wants to get a real flavor of what period plans looked like. Modern plans seen on the internet seem to be very strongly influenced by mid-century Ranch layouts - and integrated garages.
