Works as promised but installation is not as easy as described.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The D-Link DAP-1720 performs as described and has extended the range of my wi-fi router throughout my one-level house. However, the ease of installation is less than as described in the literature. I consider myself to be pretty computer system savvy and I attempted to install the unit following the directions provides. After 30 minutes of no success, I started a chat session with technical assistance. That experience was a total failure and after 40 minutes of chat time I still was not able to install the unit. Finally, the chat expert gave up and forwarded my issue to a tech who would call me in 1 - 3 hours. One hour later, I received the promised call. The phone tech successfully walked me through the installation process in about 15 minutes. This experience reinforces my opinion the chats are a waste of time. I would have given this product a 5 star rating id not for the difficulty in installation.
