Why use camp gas bottles, when the straight butane bottles are cheaper?
Recently, I purchased a brand name storm cooker. Alcohol is a great option to use, but it isn't always practical. So I wanted a multifuel burner. The multifuel burner specific to my storm cooker, is prohibitively expensive, so I found a less expensive, butane option, designed to fit into my cookset. When I saw the prices of butane canisters, I about had a fit (in some instances, I saw 250 g canisters costing around US$20.00!). I searched, and found this handy device! With this, I can now use the standard 8 oz butane canisters commonly found in Asian markets! Now, I can take my storm cooker, and make a hot meal on a picnic, or when I'm car camping! I'm very pleased with this device!

ALICE Pack straps...
After carrying an ALICE Pack in the Marine Corps, I hated having her on my back! But, when paired with a Swiss M-90 waterproof pack, it makes a huge difference!
