Philips Noise Cancelling Headphones
Lovely set of headphones in a nice compact set-up. They are a good quality item with excellent frequency range making them sound terrific. Low rumbling bass notes and equally crisp high end. Quite a light comfortable feel to them and no bits that rub or chaff when you wear them for a while. I use them when playing guitar as well with good effect. (Unfortunately it shows up my poor playing even more!). Noise cancelling works in some environments, but sometimes not quite as effective as I expected, as they don't quite cover all the ear, thus letting in some external sound. There are several ways to adjust the fit, which I have yet to experiment with, which I think will overcome this problem. The battery box can also be a bit of a pain sometimes, if you forget to clip it on safely. The volume control is a useful feature, so you don't need to fumble for it on your portable player if adjustment is necessary. Overall I'm really pleased with them.
