Functions Well - Programmatically Flexible
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The unit is compact and sturdy – use the appropriate torque when securing the wiring – monkey tight and not gorilla tight. The unit installation is straight forward. Programming is straight forward once you realize which programmatic parameters are associated with each of the “Call for Heat” and “Pump” contact control functions. The documentation could be somewhat clearer in how this presented.
It was determined through experimentation that the pump differential control does not honor the heating “Set Point” –i.e. the pump continues to run when the pump differential parameters are met with no regard for the “Call for Heat” set point. An additional external relay was required to interrupt the pump circuit when the call for heat turned off.
The display lacks status information in that there is no panel indication of when the pump circuit relay is on (closed) or off (open). This makes it difficult in troubleshooting mal-functions of the overall system.
Also it would be much more convenient to have both sensor temperatures (high and Low) as well as the heating “Set Point” value displayed simultaneously on the panel. Another nice to have display value would be the current delta value for the next contact action – i.e. if the pump is off, what is the temperature differential that will cause it to turn on – and when the pump is on, what is the temperature differential that will turn it off. Likewise for the Call-for-Heat circuit.
Over all, a good value and once it was set to the required specs, it seems to function flawlessly!
