It's Trekking, but not as we know it.

The dynamic range of characters in this series are wider than the 'Original series'. These guys are allowed to have a laugh, too. This does not detract from the tension in 'uh-oh' moments. Seth MacFarlane is not James T. Kirk, if you're expecting that. Just as well- probably wouldn't work as well. Forget 'Discovery', this is much more watchable, and enjoyable if you think of yourself as a fan, though you definitely don't need to be. Look out for the gelatinous crew member- he's a hoot.

Liking the last track.

Bought this CD (of Music from the film), really for the last track, which is very evocative. Nice quality, already put it on my iPod for listening elsewhere whilst out and about. I would recommend it, if your thinking is similar to mine, but I can't call it good value, on the basis of one track. Having said that, you may be an Abba fan, with more motivation. Enjoy.
