Tight fit but great result.
It's great that there are third-party alternatives to frankly rather expensive (in my opinion) official spares for Dyson products, and this filter is a good example. Of course, there are trade offs you have to accept in return for low prices. In the case if this filter, the fit was far from perfect. I guess the manufacturing tolerances just need to be out by a couple of millimeters and things get tight. So it was, and ramming this into place required a bit more brute force that inserting the original did, but once inserted (phew!) it worked perfectly! A second lease of life for the vacuum and all for a knockdown price!

Great Wireless Intruder Switch.
Great little wireless contact switch to detect opening/closing doors & windows. A little fiddley to install as the screws are tiny & need to be aligned into recessed apertures, but once setup it's fine. Er. Until the batteries need changing - hopefully a couple of years away yet!
