It doesn't work

Unfortunately it doesn't work, I bought these to avoid soldering, Well These solder-less connectors are advertised as designed for the 5050 LED light strips, Well I measured my 5050 LED strips and tried to find a connector that was solder-less and would work for my 5050 LED light strips. This one said it was designed for the 5050 LED light strip. Well it arrived promptly and I proceeded to cut my LED and use this connector with the LED. It doesn't fit my 5050 LED light strip. The slot in the connector the 5050 light strip is supposed to slide into is too small. It won't fit in there. I tried for about an hour, eventually cutting the 5050 a little on each side to make it fit, It barely connected then, but the LED wasn't working properly after the connector. So I just soldered the cut ends and put aside these connectors. The soldering I did works, but it takes a lot of effort(since I have to cut the LED about ten times, meaning I've got at least 80 places to solder, and more with some 3 way splices. The solder will be mechanically superior to the solder-less connectors, I'm told, so that may be the only silver lining in the clouds. If I could get my money back that would be great, because these connectors don't work.
