Reminders of whom I strive to be like

I only like paper Holy cards so unless I want to pay a very high price for a vintage card I buy those that serve there purpose. Usually, they don't resemble what Jewish persons In Israel would look like. Occasionally they come close but in this case, just barely. But I use them mainly as book marks in my liturgical and non-liturgical prayer books and other spiritual books. Overall, they are reminders of I strive to emulate.

Beauty and Simplicity

It's a wonderfully simple state of being a true Christian. I where one all the time not just because I'm a Monastic Catholic Priest but because I'm proud of it. This Crucix makes that statement in both it's simplicity and beauty

Praying not saying

Michael Buckley’s “The Catholic Prayer Book” is simply, in my opinion, the very best - with the exception of the Roman Breviary and Roman Missal. It has everything needed to put you in a prayer mood and you quickly find you are praying not saying the beautiful prayers. I do prefer the 1986 version. It has one of my favorite penitential prayers where the new one does not. Either way, it’s a great book that really puts you in right spirit.
