The UV5R is better
I really liked the concept of being able to swap transmit frequencies by just pushing the ptt differently . But the scan kept having some type of internode ,then I found out the UHF side has ZERO output. So it gets used on 2 meters only @ 3.8 watts.

A must for classic cars
I have used my oils over the years .m Valvoline VR1 hold better oil pressure with less engine noises then AMSOIL and there is no noticeable difference in power between the two.

Surprised
Nice heavy base,came tuned pretty close ,but would like the see the rod a little longer to tune. Has more gain then a 5/8 mounted on the same roof in comparison.On 440 I can bring up a repeater 60 miles away on a mountain with 50 watts.
