DO NOT BUY - Inadequate Amperage - BAD BEARINGS - Made In China bites again

Chinese Alternator. Cheap & (so far) working as advertised. Struggles to hold 13.5v at idle, once the engine warms up, with a new battery and no accessories on. When cold, at high idle, it holds 13.8-14v. I had hoped it would hold 14v-14.5v (spec) at warm idle This Chinese Alternator acts like it. I bought this in November of 2023, as of this review (March 2023'; 5 months) .. It is already *TOAST*. I have found it's electrical function to be *identical* to the prior reviewer in that it will only provide 14v to 14.3 volts upon first starting the engine (cold) and *the moment* it warms up...the voltage (ergo: current output x load/resistance) drops PRECIPITOUSLY down to 13v-13.2v with NO accessories enabled (no lights, no heater, no AC, no wipers, no defroster, no anything). When the engine is warmed up AND it's a moonless night (in the woods, no street/ambient light) AND its raining AND its cold out (or hot out) then this alternator cannot even HOLD the voltage to 12.5v..it regularly drops to 11.8v-12v *** it regularly drops to 11.8v-12v *** Even though the night/cold/rainy current load (~80a) is well within the "capacity" of this alternator (~100a) it is clearly inferior and not recommended. In my case, even with all the electrical load problems of this alternator, the biggest problem I have with this unit is the absolute *crap* bearings installed in this. The bearings in this 5 month old alternator are now squealing like a stuck pig. This alt is toast. Oh, speaking of toast, it also runs REALLY HOT... likely an artifact of the horrible bearings. I am attempting (probably unsuccessfully) to get a refund because this thing is garbage.
