Interesting history of the Stanley Brothers, mainly F.O. Stanley.
Interesting story of the twin Stanley brothers who made the Stanley Steamer. Previous to that, they made a fortune in the dr-plate photographic business. F.O. Stanley came to Colorado and built a luxury hotel in Estes Park, the first hotel to be powered by electricity in the U.S. His 1909 hydro plant is a museum today, after it was damaged by a flood in 1982.

Mastered from an LP
Some very nice tracks here. But it is mastered from an LP! You can hear the repetitive pops from the record. Doesn't sound bad, but this same material is included in the Mosaic Records complete Argo recordings, and that one sounds better.

Great sounding LP
Very high quality 180-gram pressing remastered from the original tapes. Great sound. A classic album from the era.
