My 2 cents worth!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This takes me back to a dividing time in my youth.Disc 1 contains most of the tunes I love from this guy- at his best who's better? The Money Spyder LP (bought it twice, lost it twice!) as well as Mission Impossible where most of this comes from are right up my street. I saw him a couple of times when he was playing this stuff. Just about my favourite gigs.
Which brings me to Disc 2. I saw him play with this line up. Just once, that was enough. Gone is the driving Hammond and with it my interest i'm afraid. Is he even playing on some of these? Does anyone truly look back on the acid jazz thing with lasting affection? Seems very wishy-washy to me as it always did.
But if you're into his acid jazz period-buy it!
If you're an ageing mod type-buy it!
You WILL enjoy one Disc.

Some cracking tracks on here, some I knew some I didn't but glad I do now! Shame I don't know what he's on about though, a dog and a car get a mention somewhere...and me, and me and me!

Handy solution
Neat idea to get your ironing board away. I have a larger than average board so hanging it on a door back would be a bit awkward.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is my iron will not fit in as shown in the pictures (i.e. I have to have it pointing "down") so all the water has to be drained before putting it away.
