Good quality rebuild kit with several gasket options.
I have a 1976 Homelite Super XL that has sat for the last 10 years; it would start with starter fluid but wouldn't stay running. After much internet research, I was able to identify the carburetor make and number. I found this vendor who had specific saws matched to this kit; the Super XL was among them. Since my saw is vintage, I asked if this kit would still fit. The vendor promptly answered with yes. I bought and received the kit soon after and spent an afternoon rebuilding the carburetor. There are a couple of doubles on some of the gaskets. These are in different thicknesses and can be matched to the original gasket thickness. The saw started on the third pull and after adjustment, now idles where it wouldn't before. Before, I usually ran the saw with some choke but now runs like new without the choke. Suggestions for those considering a rebuild; I was able to find a Homelite website that has many saw diagrams of different models. The carburetor diagrams were of great help.
