Great arm for the $$

The locating pins and big teeth on the main joint make all the difference. Doesn't slip at all even with a caged 7" monitor at full extension.

Good Hypercardioid for the cost

This mic sounds great. It's a little thin on the low-end compared to the cheapie small diaphragm condenser mic I use for interiors and group recordings, but the internal battery lasts forever and it has a nice narrow pickup pattern.
