The protective barrier is inferior.
Compared to the product that came out of my vacuum this product was extremely inferior. The number of fins made it much less dense so I am assuming it will not provide the protecting barrier that the previous one did, nor will it hold up as long.

Kept flying off the sander
Would not stay on my NEW hook and loop pad sander.

Buyer be ware, this product is NOT for Hook & Loop Sanders
Buyer be ware, this product is not for HOOK & LOOP sanders. I am not sure what type of sander this is even used on but it does not stick. Unfortunately I bought this product because it appeared to be identical to one I had previously used for my sander that is no longer available from Craftsman. At any rate I just want to make sure others don't mistakenly buy it since all the other FINE PRINT on the package matches that for the HOOK & LOOP. Looking back at the AD title I see the designation PSA which I have to admit I was not familiar with, so yes, this is my mistake, but I still think I should point this out so others don't make that mistake too.
