The Emigrants and The New Land
A treasure for learning some Minn, history as well as some Swedish history. A gentle, engaging film that will give you appreciation for your modern life. Max von Sydow and Liv Ullman are so young!

Good for browsing, good for reference--"Fine Machine Sewing"
Excellent book for home sewer. Can use much of this info with any zig zag machine and plain fabrics, no need for high-end machine. Most of us who have machines made in the last 50 years have the equipment to duplicate many of these techniques.
Photos give nice frame of reference--"Heck, I could do that!" This will inspire a sewer's creativity.
I was pleased to purchase this book at a good, used price. Thanks.

Hey, nothing like buying name-brand sewing gear on eBay. Too bad they don't sell good taste and sewing talent. Still looking for a deal on that. Meanwhile, I've got some projects to decorate in my own way.
