k80 still a great performer
The tesla k80 performs in Blender at similar speeds like the current rtx3090 , but getting it to be stable in a desktop environment is a bit of a mission and is different in every setup. cooling is very simple by attaching 3 cpu fans on the cooling blades. With that setup the temperature stayed well in comfortable limits. using 3 recycled 9 inch cpu noctua fans makes this gpu also very quiet. If You don't mind tinkering and you can experiment with a machine this is a good value component.
the card was well packaged for delivery and delivery was fast.

Excellent Product!
Amazing upgrade, making the x99 render machines competitive again compared to newer machines. I originally was using i7 5820K 6 core 3.3Ghz-they were at the time chosen for price/performance. For rendering 2D effects these were performing fine, for 3D they were a bit too slow. The plan was initially to upgrade these to something better when the price dropped .
The E5-2697 v3 proved to be an excellent upgrade speeding up render performance 200% for a low price. making these older machines faster then our newer models (for rendering).
