Good, solid and almost traditional!
It's a potato peeler. It feels more solid than the plastic-handled ones. I would have preferred a right-handed one rather than an ambidextrous one, but it seems like those days are history. It works, and it works well.

Rejuvenating a very old Maglite
This device coverts an old incandescent bulb Maglite into an LED-powered one. It fits easily, is much brighter than the original, and extends the life of the batteries too. Much cheaper than replacing the whole torch, and the incandescent bulb will still work as a spare. Its now good for another 30 years!
