Did the Trick
It fit up great and came with all the required parts, including shims and the two snap rings - one of which is difficult to get off without damaging. It looked pretty much identical to the original (2003 Corolla). The only noticeable difference was that the original coil had a two prong plug that plugged into a short pigtail that split it into the single power lead and a grounding ring. The new coil didn't need the pigtail; it had a grounding ring and power connector coming directly from the coil (which you can see in the pictures). This is probably better since it eliminates a connection. I just had to use a small zip tie to secure the wire away from the belt and pulley.
Also of note, I had to use both the supplied shims and the original shim to get the right clearance (I think about 0.030"). That was the only way to ensure it didn't drag when not engaged. I may have to remove a shim at some point if it wears in a little, but it's been working fine for a couple of weeks now (not a lot of use yet).
Getting just the clutch was the right call, since I didn't have to break the system - I knew it was getting power, just not engaging. In my case, simply a new coil would have probably fixed it as well - the old coil was visibly damaged (melted around the edge closest to the end of the compressor shaft).

Good Deal
Product shipped fast. I checked the farads when I got and they were nearly spot on, well within range. Good price. I installed in a window AC in my workshop and it worked; probably have about 20-30 hours run time on it so far. Though this is not much of a test since the previously install capacitor (not this brand) had been installed since ~2005.

Worked great. I should ordered this one first - the cheapo one I ordered wouldn t put out enough pressure to run and it didn t have a filter in it!
