Good, sturdy, small and large holes (but none in between)

This is a nice bit of kit, made from MDF, and easy to assemble. There are small and large holes, the latter really a bit too big for artists' brushes, so there is too much wobble and the tops of brushes could collide. Hence only four stars. Better to have had some medium holes also. A bit of DIY could fix this, but that shouldn't be necessary. Some initial product testing would have averted this. 32 small holes and 13 big holes, the former are more useful even for bigger brushes. It is heavy enough not to be in danger of toppling over. It is handy, low price, and I am keeping it.

Good quality and economical

These types of rollers are widely available from many sellers and are excellent quality for a basic craft roller. I have not had any problems with several sizes from different suppliers and reasonably heavy usage. There are other economy rollers available from China with a wooden handle: these have a harder roller and I found tended to "skid" more on the ink. The ones with the red plastic handle have a slightly softer rubber. What is very useful is the bit of plastic sticking up at the top: turn the roller over and you can rest it on this without getting ink on a surface. You can buy top end professional rollers if you want, or maybe have very heavy duty usage, but you will pay a lot more.

Excellent to rescue standard lamp

Fitted perfectly onto the existing thread of a standard lamp whose on/off switch had broken after many years.
