Excellent for embroidering borders!
This is an awesome hoop if you are doing borders, etc. It hold the material very firmly and it's easy to shift material when the hoop is still in the machine by releasing the clip. Very happy with it!

Nifty Little Gadget!
I'm really liking the Fitbit Flex 2. I'm not a fan of how trackers in general look, and this one was slimmer than others. I haven't purchased the jewelry you can slip your tracker into, but that's an option as well. I got it for movement... wanted to be inspired a bit to keep being active on days when I'm not as much. I wasn't sure if I'd get used to the lights on it, as it doesn't have a regular display, but they are very easy to interpret once you see them in action. If you tap it, lights will come on in 2500 step segments, solid if you reached that mark, blinking if you're working on those 2500 steps. Easy once you use it.
I LOVE that it lights up and vibrates a bit when I get a text or phone call. Especially nice if I'm playing tennis and waiting for a call or if I put my phone down in the house and accidentally have volume off or low. I didn't buy it for this feature but really like it.
I DID buy it for the waterproof aspect. If I take things on and off, I tend to either misplace them or forget to put them back on. I shower with it on without even thinking about it.
The battery does need to be recharged every few days, so I just put the charger by my computer and when I'm sitting for an hour or so, pop it out of the bracelet and into the charger. Easy.
The only con I've found is that the sleep part doesn't seem to be as accurate as it could be. I like how often I get up at night and restlessness, and this seems to be accurate, but when I actually go to sleep seems to be skewed a bit. But in all honesty, this wasn't my main reason for purchasing, and maybe there are other settings I should be doing for this function.
Oh! One very cool aspect is that I'm tracking calories and I linked my Fitbit to the app I'm using (this one is Loseit but there are others as well). My calories burned is transferred to the app, which is neat. Though I think it does say you've burned more calories than you actually have. ;)
Overall, very happy with purchase!

great quick-reading book on Florida History
Fun book to read. The stories were written in historical order, and each story is a quick-read. Very interesting facts about Florida and its history! I'm not a history buff, but I found this a great book with neat stories to tell the kids!
