Great budget tape with classic eighties looks.
'Basic' type 1 tape with classic and very popular retro '80's look by Memorex. Called the 'Clown' cassette because of it's bright coloured shell. These were made either by Saehan or SKC (South Korean) who made good tapes. The SKC version here (round hole design on hubs as opposed to sqaure holes) is slightly better. Records very well, sounds great. The shell has a cheap feel but works fine.

A powerful evidence driven investigation into a war crime
The Katyn Massacre has long been a stick with which to beat Stalin and the Soviet Union...but this book of deep research into reports of the time (German and Russian) and new findings in the archaeological digs more recently (Polish and Ukrainian). Findings from all primary sources (not the tendentious library of books blaming Russia (what's new) tell a different story. One in which clearly shows fatal flaws in the official narrative and why these anomalies prove that the Soviets not only did not do it but could not have done it.
It is an academic work not light reading and some of the details (places, dates) can seem somewhat complex but the writer includes excellent summations and conclusions to bring the disparate material together to provide clear evidence.
An extremely important work which of course will be entirely rejected by the increasingly Russo-phobic academic community for obvious reasons. But if you are interested in truth no matter how uncomfortable it may be in challenging our preconceptions then this is for you.

Quad 306 upgraded.
The same upgrade as Red Hill Audio 1 upgrade. Looked like a new amp. Beautifull paint job and new high quality binding posts. I use this with Auratone 5C originals and AR18S's and it really shines. great neutral amp for Studio monitoring and the AR18S's sound really great as a pure hi fi listening experience. I run from an Imac i7 running Pro Tools 11 nsd Logic 9 through a Lynx Hilo, so DA conversion is very good. Main Monitors by comparison are M&K 1611's.
