Solved the drone problem with aftermarket exhaust
Excellent product, this was installed to help with the Drone noise inside the cabin. I recently purchased a Carven TR Progressive system for my 2018 Silverado Double-Cab with a 5.3L. I knew going into this that a bullet style muffler would be prone to some drone noise especially when your AFM kicks in. I loved the deep tone but needed turn it down a notch for my daily driver. The best compromise was to install this Vibrant Resonator which is another high quality piece in front of the muffler. Mission accomplished!! The drone is almost non-existent and it's a much better driving experience for the daily commute. Keep in mind this won't fix the AFM 8 to 4 cylinder helicopter type noise but it will certainly help reduce it.
