Cheapest sealed reel around
I needed a reel for the kayak, and this is much smoother than an antique Penn that is simple enough to service each trip, at a fraction of the price of the more common fully sealed models. I'm sure the ones 5 or 8 times the price are tougher and better sealed, but this meets my needs just fine.

Very Good for the Price
While not as bullet proof as the top offerings, it's also about 1/4 the price, and should be fine for the usage I'll give it. Plenty of room for terminal tackle. some plastics and jig heads or smallish (for saltwater) lures, and a spool of leader material. Just right for essentials on a boat or a little walking around and casting. The zipper and the twist closure are good ideas, no velcro to fatigue and fail. The velcro on the belt loops is a great idea to secure it on different width belts. Very pleased overall.

Works As Advertised
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Pretty clever. The spring hid in the packaging, so I didn't initially install it. Works either way, but it rattles in D if it's absent. My bridge plate is angled towards the endpin, so the extra length of the D-Tuner means I have less tuning adjustment range, as the space between the end of the unit and the face of the guitar is now the limiting factor. I could fix it by shimming the bridge level, or shimming the neck so that the bridge was flat when the action was readjusted. Hasn't troubled me enough to bother so far.
