Used for database on police scanner. Boot up is now faster than before.
Bought to work with a Bearcat police scanner that uses the US database on an SD card for frequency loading. Had no issues with transferring the database from the original SD card to this new one. Seemed to speed up the initial boot up of my scanner. Overall, a good deal!

When only the best will do...
If you want clean welds with less spatter and porosity, this wire is just the ticket. Yes, you can purchase cheaper wire that will stick metal together for half the cost. But if you want strong consistent welds with no issues, this wire is worth the cost! Lincoln branded wires and tips have consistent quality and no issues. If the welds matter the brand should matter too!

OEM parts for the win, but you may need other parts not included in this kit
What's better then an OEM part in terms of fit and functionality? I bought this kit because I knew there would be no surprises. If you are doing the same be sure to check and see if your outboard has the shim pack above the water pump impeller as mine did. It consists of three washers (one wave washer) and a nylon sleeve with a stainless steel ring. These are all separate parts and not included in this kit. You will likely damage the sleeve and ring removing it. If you have a larger outboard (150-250) you'll likely need the extra parts. Yamaha really should include all of this in the package to make this a "kit". No fault of the seller whatsoever though! The kit was shipped fast and came in great shape.
