needs to be mod'd
The new line of Rockman Metal Ace from Dunlop is absolutely unusable out of the box. Very thin sounding, noisy and a ridiculous amount of over-compression. If you search online, you can find mods to remove a jumper and dial back a potentiometer on the PCB which may help.

Possibly the best Band-Maid album
This is written before the December 2019 new album release, but so far this is my favorite Band-Maid album- just beating out "World Domination" 13 songs total with most lyrics written by Miku; Saiki has co-written credits for: "Don't you tell ME", "Take me higher!!", and "Decided by myself".
3 of the songs have official videos, so I'll go into 3 other songs that I like the best.
Puzzle (track 2) An epic anthem of a song. Before I checked the translations they did an acoustic version. Both versions are incredible, but I thought how could they make such a great acoustic version of such a powerful song. Check the translation- how could they make such a powerful song with such beautiful lyrics. Miku is a poet and her writing shines here. Kanami's guitar work is remarkable- ripping it up through the entire song and the solo just tears me apart. Akane and MISA are just plain awesome. Saiki's singing is powerful and breathtaking- literally. I have no idea how she can belt it out like that.
Next song- You (track 10) A bit more of a catchy-pop song. If you like "Choose me" and "Alone" you'll love this song. Calling it "pop" doesn't do it any justice, Akane is again a monster on the drums, but this song really suits Saiki's vocals. Miku's lyrics are incredible. A very touching, soulful yet pop-ish song
last song- Awkward (track 11) Almost a ballad, but a bit upbeat in the chorus, and Kanami's wailing solo. More Miku magic in the lyrics. What I love about these (and most) Band-Maid songs is there's just more... it's not verse / chorus / verse / etc. it's Band-Maid, and more Band-Maid and MORE BAND-MAID.
If you like Band-Maid, this is an album you can listen to all the way through, over and over. No duds. Track 9- "TIME" is probably the low point, but I can't find anything wrong with it.
If you were to get only 1 Band-Maid album, I'd get the "Start Over" single that INCLUDES the 2+ hour concert on DVD or Blu-Ray. If you want more Band-Maid, get "Just Bring It" next, then "World Domination" After that I really like "New Beginning" followed closely by "Brand New Maid" The first album, "Maid in Japan" is, well, different. Definitely more pop sounding, Miku sings much more and Saiki's voice is different. Not bad at all, but it is very different.
This edition of "Just Bring It" came with a 28 page insert with lyrics in Kanji, English translation and Romaji.

Other review might be for a different title.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I bought this from the band's site, shipped from Japan. I think the other review was mistakenly left for another title because this CD has either 14 or 15 tracks depending on the version, not 16 and I don't believe the songs are alike at all. "I can't live without you", "One and only", "Carry on living" are powerful- slightly 'poppy anthem' songs. "Dice", "Domination", "Play", and "Spirit" are hard rockers. "Anemone" and "Daydreaming" are mushy ballads, while "Rock in me" is Miku being her Kobato self. "Honey" is an excellent cover of a MUCC song. Listen to the original MUCC then this version... Band-Maid own it.
I do have a bit of a problem with the production, the mastering of this album is a bit much- engineer definitely went 'loudness war' on this one. Other than that every song on this album is great and stands on its own merit. I recommend the version with 15 songs, the MUCC cover is worth not getting the edition with the concert DVD. If you want a concert, get the "Start over" single with the concert DVD or Blu-Ray, it has twice as many songs, over 2 hours long and the single B-side; "Screaming" is an intense, incredible song. I can skip "Start over", but the concert is definitely worth it.
The 'half-concert' included with some editions is good, but you don't get "Honey", and well, it's half a concert; only an hour long.
